Integrated water management plays a big role in coconut agriculture in Indragiri Hilir District, Riau Province. The effort by local stakeholders has resulted in enormous production, promoting Indonesia as the world’s largest coconut supplier. Our research examines the existing agriculture practice of this large-scale coconut agriculture on peatland and describes its sustainability, viewed from the aspects of water management, land management, and socioeconomic development.
